(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee on Oct 28 held a meeting to review the implementation of the "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle" and “Day for the Poor” movements.
Over the past 15 years, the “Day for the Poor” fund raised some VND1.7 trillion to build and upgrade houses, award scholarships and provide financial support to needy people and students, contributing to help 107,000 households to escape from poverty sustainably and reduce the poverty rate to 2.89 percent.
On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee and Fatherland Front presented certificates of merit to 91 collectives and 64 individuals for their achievements in the movements.
