(ĐN)- A delegation from Central Ethnic Minorities Committee, Dong Nai Ethnic Minorities Committee on Friday visited and presented gifts to Khmer people in Dinh Quan district on the occasion of ethnic Khmer’s Sene Dolta Festival.
At Thai Hoa Pagoda in the district’s Dinh Quan township, the delegation extended greetings and presented 20 gifts worth nearly VND12 million to local Khmer people, wishing them a happy festive season.
Sene Dolta is one of the three largest Khmer festivals, paying tribute to ancestors and those who have contributed to the homeland.
The community holds the festival every year from the 30th day of the eighth lunar month to the second day of the ninth lunar month. This year it falls from October 12 to 14.
