(ĐN)- Forest rangers of Samach Station under Nam Cat Tien Nation Park Ranger Division and Phu Ly commune Police in Vinh Cuu district have arrested two men who illegally hunted wild animals in the national park.
The detainees are Nguyen Van Hai and Nguyen Van Long, residents of Phu Ly commune. On searching at their hut, the forces found and seized 112 strings for trap, 2 Java pangolins, 1 varan, 2 musk-deers and 1 monkey. All of the wild animals were alive.
The men were handed over to authorities for further investigation.
