(ĐN)- 363 disabled and poor students in Dong Nai received “Giving strength to students” scholarships worth a total of VND1.36 billion at an awarding ceremony on August 29.
Particularly, 66 primary students got VND3 million each, 122 junior high students, VND4 million, and 75 high school students, VND5 million.
The event, the seventh of its kind, was attended by Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of the provincial People’s Committee. The scholarships aim to encourage students with disabilities and disadvantaged ones to overcome difficulties and continue their study.
On this occasion, the committee awarded certificates of merit to 12 collectives and 2 individuals for their contribution to the scholarship fund
