(ĐN)- In the first six months of the year, Dong Nai AO/dioxin Victims’ Association raised more than VND5 billion to help AO sufferers.
The money was used to build four compassionate houses, provided capital to 61 beneficiaries to develop household economy, presented 4,547 Tet gifts and awarded 102 scholarships.
In the remaining months of the year, the association will continue to raise additional VND4.2 billion to assist some 1,000 local AO/dioxin victims with difficult circumstances.
