(ĐN)- A blood donation campaign was launched in Bau Ham commune, Thong Nhat district on February 5 to respond to Xuan Hong (Red Spring) festival.
Some 200 volunteers who are officials, state employees, students of Bau Ham high school and local people registered to give blood and 113 blood units have been collected.
According to plan, Thong Nhat district’s Red Cross Chapter will cooperate with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre to hold 12 voluntary blood donation campaigns in 2015.
