Accordingly, the department will strive to complete the projects including 769 road, stage 3 of Vinh Cuu-Trang Bom inter-district road, Road 765 in Xuan Loc district; upgrade of Road 10, construction of Dak Lua bridge in Tan phu district, Road 768 built in BOT format in Vinh Cuu district, Road 319 in Nhon Trach district connecting the HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway, special road for transporting construction materials in Bien Hoa city’s Phuoc Tan commune, An Hao bridge in Bien Hoa city, and 25B route in Nhon Trach district.
As known, in 2014, DoT invested and upgraded nearly 400km of road, maintained 1,700km of road as well as built and upgraded 1,160m of bridge with a total investment of VND1.14 trillion. It is estimated that some VND539 billion will be spent for traffic projects in 2015.
Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the provincial People’s Committee asked DoT to pay its special attention in major projects in order to boost the local economic development, adding the transport sector should focus on the traffic safety situation.
