(ĐN)- Dong Nai spent nearly VND16 billion to provide vocational training for nearly 7,446 rural laborers in 2014, fulfilling 74.46% of the year’s target, the provincial Department of Labour, War Invalid and Social Affairs
Of which, 2,792 of them were provided vocational training in non-agricultural sectors while 4,654 received agricultural vocational training.
Over the past five years, Dong Nai spent more than VND82 billion to provide vocational training for nearly 38,700 rural workers and at least 82 percent of them have been employed soon after.
Due to this training, more than 2,000 underprivileged households in the province escaped from poverty and over 3,200 others had better living conditions.
