(ĐN)- Early on December 12, Dong Nai’s delegation visited and presented gifts to the High Command of Coast Guard Zone 2 in Quang Nam province.

At the visit, Vice Chairman Nguyen Phu Cuong of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee (PC) handed VND1.2 billion to the force, saying that this gift represents Dong Nai people’s heart towards Vietnam’s sea and islands.
He also extended his wish of good health to the officials and soldiers of the force who are constantly safeguarding national sovereignty at sea and islands.
The money was donated by individuals and units to the program “For Vietnam's sea and islands” launched by the PC.
On behalf of the coast guard force, Commander Nguyen Quang Trung thanked Dong Nai people for their support to share difficulties with officers and soldiers and pledged that the force will fulfill their tasks in safeguarding national sovereignty at sea and islands.
