(ĐN)- In the morning of November 12, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of the provincial People’s Committee worked with related departments and agencies on the implementation of rural clean water projects in 2015.
The province is now home to 81 concentrated water supply projects. Accordingly, as much as 94 percent of rural residents in the locality gained access to hygienic water.
Dong Nai strives to help 95 percent of its rural population accessing hygienic water by 2015, of which 70 percent will use clean water meeting the Health Ministry’s standards. Particularly, the province will invest some VND1,545 billion to build 76 clean water supply systems in remote areas of the province.
The local authorities have also set to provide hygienic water for 100 percent of local schools and medical stations by 2015.
