(ĐN)- Demand for university graduates, professionally skilled candidates has risen at the 81th job transaction floor, said Vice Director Lam Thanh Thu of Dong Nai Employment Service Center.
This session, organized on November 10, saw the participation of 25 enterprises with around 1,500 job opportunities, including 23% of university graduates and skilled workers.
Positions with high recruitment demands included bookkeeper, mechanical engineer, sale staffs, import and export employees.
However, enterprises are also having difficulties in finding suitable candidates for their production because employees will not be jumping from job to job as much as they have in the past.
The demand for unskilled workers accounts for 77 percent of the total demand, but the recruitment also remains a headache for recruiters because the supply lagged far behind demand during this time.
The labour demand is predicted to be high in the remaining months of the year as local firms expand their production and need more workers to fulfill orders by the year’s end. Local enterprises are now registering to recruit more than 15,000 laborers.
