(ĐN)- A memorial service and requiem will be held at Phap Hoa pagoda in Dinh Quan district on November 16 for the victims of fatal road accidents.
The event is part of the World Day of Remembrance for Victims of Road Traffic Accidents, which falls on the third Sunday of November.

On November 13, the district’s Traffic Safety Committee sent delegations to visit and share the grief suffered by the victims’ families.
As many as 40 traffic accidents occurred in Dinh Quan district over the last twelve months, killing 33 people.
In response to the day, Trang Bom district’s Traffic Safety Committee also organized delegations to visit and present 145 gifts totaling some VND100 million to families of the victims of fatal road accidents.

During the visits, the delegation expressed their sympathy to the families of the victims.
The event aims to warn the public about traffic-related tragedies and raise the population’s awareness of driving carefully and abiding by traffic rules.
