The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vy Van Vu, Head of the provincial Department of Propaganda and Training Huynh Van Toi and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri.
As known, State President Truong Tan Sang has recently signed a decision to confer the title of Meritorious Teacher on 680 teachers for their great contributions to the cause of national education, 15 of them came from Dong Nai province.
On this occasion, 722 local individuals received the Medal “For the Cause of Education” of Ministry of Education and Training.
Addressing the event, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri extended his best wishes to the teachers on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. He also highlighted the educational sector’s efforts to innovate its management, curricula, teaching, learning, and assessment methods, and improve the living and studying conditions for teachers and students in the locality.
