(ĐN)- Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of the provincial People’s Committee made the statement at the working session on September 8 with Department of Education and Training and Department of Planning and Investment on the deployment of the project.
The project is part of the program to improve the quality of education and social security with the aim to supply clean water for students studying at pre-schools, primary schools and junior high schools in the province.
When the project completes, students will drink water from the taps which supplies clean and safe water. They will no longer need to bring drinking water to school every day. Thus, their parents and schools would save costs.
The total investment of this project is VND60 billion, funded from ODA and the province’s budget. Le Van Tam Primary School in Bien Hoa city is chosen to pilot the project.
