(ĐN)- Since 2013, a charity kitchen has been launched by Chief Nun Thich Nu Dieu Phap from Quang Xa monastic in Dinh Quan district. The kitchen provides 500 free meals to local poor students and patients during the lunch time. The cost of the meal is mostly covered by donations from many kind individuals.
Besides, the monastic’s nuns contributed vegetables grown by themselves to the kichen.
“I wish to give a hand to difficult people, especially poor students who are less lucky than friends at the same ages”, said Chief Nun.
