(ĐN)- After three days of excavation, Dong Nai provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the provincial Military Command and Militaly Zone 7 found the remains of 109 fallen soldiers’ and their relics.
The remains, together with many sandals, hammocks and water cans, were found in a mass grave in Hamlet 5, Long Tho commune, Nhon Trach district.
Based on historical documents and related information, the remains are of soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the war at Nhon Trach district’s Long Tho commune in 1967.
The remains will be buried in Nhon Trach district’s Martyr Cemetery at a ceremony scheduled to be held on August 31.
