(ĐN)- Since the beginning of the year, more than 13,000 laid-off workers in Dong Nai province registered for unemployment benefits, reported the Dong Nai Province Job Centre.
Of the total, over 10,300 were approved to receive monthly unemployment relief totaling VND97.5 billion from the province’s Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
In the first five months of the year, the department solved jobs for nearly 46,000 laborers, fulfilling 51% of the yearly plan.
