(ĐN)- Thong Nhat district’s Police on Thursday launched a campaign in support of “For the Vietnam’s sea and islands” fund.
At the ceremony, the district’s Police leader held the talk to raise awareness of the officers and policepersons of the current East Sea situation since China has illegally placed a drilling rig there, contributing to increasing patriotism, solidarity and responsibility among Vietnamese people in the struggle to safeguard the country’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.
After the launching ceremony, the officers and policepersons raised more than VND21 million for the campaign.
