The drill aims to assess standard procedures in operating disaster emergency response activities and enhance collective response.
According to the scenario, a heavy wind and rain storm accompanied by thunder and lighting caused fire on a 15-seat passenger ship. Some people jumped into the river and were swept away while others were trapped on the ship.
To deal with situation, available forces were mobilized for rescue and relief work and then asked assistance from the provincial fire fighting and prevention police and rescue forces to support victims.
