Editor-in-Chef Tran Huy Thanh of the newspaper attended the event.
At the ceremony, the school administrators reviewed the tradition of founding and defending the country and call on the students to show their patriotism in the right way, not to participate in illegal demonstrations and make practical deeds to safeguard the nation’s sacred sovereignty.
On this occasion, the school’s teachers and students protested China’s illegal placement of its oil rig in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and demanded China to immediately recall its Haiyang Shiyou-981 from Vietnam’s waters.
