The school will be situated on a 100ha plot in the capital’s Hoa Lac High-Tech Park.
Its construction and operation are to be funded largely by official development assistance provided by the Japanese Government.
Once it opens to students, the university is expected to train 6,000 students, including 2,400 postgraduates, over a 10-year period.
