(ĐN)- 19 road traffic accidents occurred in Dong Nai during Tet holidays (from January 28 to February 5), killing 18 people and injuring 16 others.
Compared to the same period last year, cases of traffic accident decreased by 3 and the injured decreased by 8 while the deaths were equivalent to last year’s figure
The highest increase of cases of traffic accident, deaths and injuries saw in Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu districts
Serious road accidents caused mainly by neglectful driving have been blamed for the increase in traffic fatalities.
Dong Nai traffic police punished 4,763 violators with total fines of over VND1.7 billion on these days.
