Hot and dry weather combined with strong winds have created favourable conditions for the fires to spread. Firefighters fought for hours to stamp out the fire.
The plantation has about 800 hectares of land under sugar cane, providing large amount of raw materials for La Nga sugar factory.
Since the beginning this year, dozens of fires occurred at this site, causing great loss for local sugar cane growers.
