Traffic accidents fall sharply in Dong Nai

At the conference, held by the National Traffic Safety Committee, at Dong Nai location, chaired by Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the Provincial People’s Committee, the province requested the Government to invest in the Long Khanh town bypass along National Highway 1 to reduce traffic jam and prevent road accidents.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc who is also Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee urged provinces, cities, and State agencies to spare no efforts to ensure traffic safety during the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

He urged the Ministry of Transport to inspect vehicle loads, check all transport services obey safety regulations, and take advantage of observation and data centres to minimise traffic accidents.
