The forest area with 26 km long is non-residential and continuous forest range bordering the park. It will offer convenience for patrolling and protecting the park.
The forest takeover is a positive move to provide more favorable conditions for several rare and precious wild animals such as bulls, yellow-cheeked gibbons, black-shanked douc and Asian elephant, helping to prevent conflicts between wildlife and people.
