(ĐN)- Since the beginning of the year, Dong Nai Children Sponsor Fund spent more than VND985 million to help 1,175 poor children.
Particularly, the fund donated VND564 million to provide heart surgeries to 8 children, offered free medical check-ups and medicine to 400 others, presented Tet gifts to 722 disadvantaged children, gave wheelchairs to 66 disabled and cash to 11 children with life threatening diseases.
The fund is planning to award scholarships to orphans and disabled children, provide free heart operations and burn scar treatments to 36 others.
