At the ceremony, the organizers awarded scholarships worth VND3 million each to 356 disadvantaged students and some organizations continued their contributions to the scholarship fund.
Addressing at the ceremony, Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh stressed that the annual scholarships aimed to help disadvantaged students to cover their school fees, overcome difficulties to continue their study. She also hoped that the fund would continue to receive donations from sponsors inside and outside the province.
Over the past three years, the fund raised over VND3 billion from more than 500 organizations and individuals across the province to provide supports to 879 poor students.
