(ĐN)- Over the past years, Dong Nai War Veterans’ Association has tried its best to help poor members to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
In the first half of this year, the association raised over VND3.1 billion to build and repair 87 charity houses, provide preferential loans to difficult members.
The association targets to eradicate temporary houses for poor veterans by the end of August. Accordingly, fifty-five makeshift houses will be replaced with better ones in next month. Until now, around VND468 million has been raised for the building.
