(ĐN)- The British American Tobacco-Vinataba Joint Venture (BAT-Vinataba) in coordination with Dong Nai Department for Agriculture and Rural Development handed more than 206,000 seedlings of acacia, eucalystus and others, worth VND140 million, to Xuan Loc Protective Forest Management Board and local army units under the company’s afforestation program in 2012.

After six years of carrying out the program, the company has helped cover over 1,100 hectares of bare hills and empty land in Dong Nai.
Other localities including Tay Ninh, Lao Cai, Bac Can, Lang Son, Gia Lai and Cao Bang have also received seedling donations from BAT-Vinataba over the past ten year.
