(ĐN)- Tan Phu district Women's Union in cooperation with the district’s branch of The Dariu Foundation (TDF) awarded 318 scholarships to studious poor students in the locality.
The scholarships, worth VND1.5 million each, include 2 uniforms, a set of textbooks, 40 notebooks and 10 pens.
On this occasion, TDF also granted 23 bicycles to the poorest students, each costing VND1.3 million.
The Dariu Foundation (TDF) was established in 2002 in Switzerland with its mission to help the poor help themselves and enable them to lead a better life and better education for their children. TDF was founded in Vietnam in 2007, with one head office in Ho Chi Minh city and three branches in Dong Nai and Vinh Long provinces
