Over VND4.2 bil raised for social-charitable activities

(ĐN)- Long Khanh town’s Red Cross Chapter raised more than VND4.2 billion this year to help needy people and provide healthcare to 115,000 individuals, fulfilling 118% of the year’s plan.

In 2011, the chapter spent VND258 million to build nine Red Cross houses and upgrade five road projects. It also mobilized nearly 2,300 blood units, achieving 135% of the yearly target.
