(ĐN)- In 2011, Dong Nai War Veterans’ Association and its agencies have made many efforts to help its members improve their lives and reduce the rate of poor war veteran families.
Particularly, the association raised nearly VND2.6 billion from their members to provide preferential loans to poor members. Besides, the members also supported more than 86 tons of fertilizer, 60 tons of cattle-feed, 40,000 seedlings and breeding animals for poor households, helped each other to develop production.
This year, the association helped its members get loans of VND8.4 billion from local banks for production development. The association’s fund has so far reached more than 20.7 billion.
