To achieve this result, the town has made necessary efforts to help poor households overcome difficulties.
Since the beginning of the year until now, the town’s Fund for the Poor raised more than VND3.4 billion from businesses, organizations and individuals inside and outside the town.
Besides, the town provided approximately VND30.8 billion loans to 700 poor households to develop household economy and stabilize their lives, disbursed more than VND19.3 billion for 2,300 student loans, granted preferential credits worth over VND1.6 billion for 120 poor households in remote areas, gave medical insurance cards to 6,000 poor people, offered vocational training courses and solved jobs for 3,700 laborers, awarded scholarships to students with difficult circumstances.
