(ĐN)- 100 young farmers from southern provinces and cities will receive Luong Dinh Cua Award on December 21-23 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
The annual Luong Dinh Cua Award, organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, is awarded to those who were creative, performed well and made noteworthy contributions to agriculture.
This year’s awards are given to 300 exceptional young farmers from the northern, central and southern regions.
Among the 100 winners in the south, seven came from Dong Nai province.
The Award was first launched in 2006 and drew the participation of many young farmers. Until now, nearly 500 young farmers between the ages of 18 to 35 have been awarded the prize for their outstanding work in farming techniques.
