Various activities to be launched to help AO victims

(ĐN)- On July 11, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri held a meeting to prepare activities to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Viet Nam's Agent Orange Disaster (August 10th).

(ĐN)- On July 11, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri held a meeting to prepare activities to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Viet Nam's Agent Orange Disaster (August 10th).
Over the past years, Dong Nai province’s AO/Dioxin Victims Association has made efforts to help the victims overcome difficulties and stabilize their life. From now until August, many practical activities will be launched to respond to the anniversary, said Tri.
Particularly, the Association will continue to raise funds to visit and present gifts to victims, carry out activities such as propaganda, providing healthcare and other programs for AO victims.
In Dong Nai, around 13,000 people were exposed to dioxin and 70% of them still face many difficulties in their day-to-day lives.
According to plan, a meeting will be organized in Bien Hoa city on August 10 to mark 50th Anniversary of Viet Nam's Agent Orange Disaster.
