(ĐN)- Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University defended its championship tittle sucessfully when LH-B7 from the university defeated Alligator of the Ha Noi University of Industry at Robocon Vietnam 2011 held in Da Nang city on Sunday night. LH-B7 will represent Vietnam at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2011 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in August.

LH-B7 from Lac Hong university retains the title for the second time |
This year, there were 13 teams from Lac Hong University participating in the regional qualifying round of Robocon Vietnam 2010 contest and and 6 teams from the university entered the national final competition. Lac Hong University placed three teams including LH-B7, LH-Cactus 1 and LH-Cactus 1 in the semi-final round. Then, LH-B7 won over its rivals to earn a place in the final match. LH-LED won with 300 points and defended its title for the second time. In addition, Lac Hong University’s team has also been honored with an award from the contest’s sponsor Toyota worth VND 10 million and US$1,000. Lac Hong unversity also won two third prizes worth up to VND 15 million each and other prizes.
