(ĐN)- The third provincial sports festival for ethnic minorities in Dong Nai province will take place in Long Khanh town from May 25-28. The event, co-organized by the provincial Committee for Ethnic Minorities and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is held every two years.
Athletes, who come from Dong Nai’s ethnic minority groups, will compete in four categorries including men’s football, men’s volleyball, men’s and women’s crossbow shooting and stick pushing.
The winning teams at the third provincial sports festival for ethnic minorities in Dong Nai province will qualify for the seventh sports festival of ethnic groups around the country to be held in Quang Nam province in the second quarter of 2011.
