The eldest boy wanted to take revenge on the manager, Le Thi Phuong Lan, because she had constantly scolded him for his stubbornness and disobedience, according to Mr. Truong Quoc Hieu, deputy director of Bien Hoa City Police.
He then persuaded the others to leave with him and lied to the media and police about abuses by Lan.
