(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association on Dec 29 organized a meeting to review its activities in 2010.
This year, the association provided relief aid worth VND41.6 billion for 160,000 AO/dioxin victims, poor people, and difficult families.
Around VND4.6 billion was also mobilized to build 236 houses for poor households and other humanitarian projects.
The association and its grassroots agencies offered free medical check-ups and medicine worth VND5.78 billion to more than 140,000 people.
On this occasion, the association awarded certificates of merit to five individuals and ten collectives for their contributions to humanitarian activities.
