(ĐN)- Over the past five years, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs spent VND729 million to help drug addicts and prostitutes to reintegrate into the community.
Particularly, the association has organized free vocational training courses for more than 1,100 drug addicts and prostitutes, provide jobs to 431 beneficiaries, help 196 others to overcome difficulties.
Besides, the association has cooperated with the localities to build charity houses, create favorable conditions for drug addicts and prostitutes to reintegrate into the community and become good citizens.
