Dong Nai donates VND1 billion for flood-hit provinces

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Fatherland Front Committee has decided to donate VND 1 billion in emergency aid to the northern-central provinces where have been damaged by floods over the last week.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Fatherland Front Committee has decided to donate VND 1 billion in emergency aid to the northern-central provinces where have been damaged by floods over the last week. Accordingly, the province will present Quang Binh province with VND400 million, Ha Tinh province with VND 300 million, Quang Tri with VND 200 million and Thua Thien Hue with VND 100 million.

The committee made an appeal on Thursday to local organizations and people to make donations for the flood-hit central region in order to help them to overcome difficulties. The appeal has received fantastic support so far. By the afternoon of October 8, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee raised over VND 157 million in support of flood victims in the northern-central region. Particularly, Tin Nghia company donated VND 100 million, the Dong Nai Foods Import and Export Company (Donafoods), VND 30 million, the Provincial Youth Union, VND 5 million…
