(ĐN)- On the occasion of the new school year 2010-2011, the Bien Hoa Confectionery Joint Stock Company (Bibica) has presented 15 scholarships worth VND1,000,000 each to poor students in Thong Nhat and Vinh Cuu districts, Bien Hoa city. In addition, Bibica has also offered 23 scholarships to studious poor students who are children of the company’s employees. Bibica plans to spend VND 250 million to fund the construction of two new classes of Phu Ly Pre-school in Cay Cay hamlet, Phu Ly Commune, Vinh Cuu district. Recently, the company has presented 120 sets of student desk and bench and 20 sets of teacher table and chair totaling about VND 120 million to a primary school in Khanh Hoa province.
On this occasion, Thong Nhat district’s Fatherland Front Committee in coordination with the district’s Fund for the Poor has awarded 410 scholarships worth VND 118 million for primary and high school students in the localitty.
