(ĐN)- A meeting was held in Dong Nai on the evening of September 25 to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi. The event also aimed to mark the success of the 9th Provincial Party Congress.
Present at the event were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quuoc Thai.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh said that the support of local Party organisations, party members and people have played a vital role in the success of the 9th Provincial Party Congress.
He also stressed that the strength and unity of local people would also play an important role in basically turning Dong Nai into a modern industrial province by 2015.
The success of the 9th Provincial Party Congress is also a meaningful gift of the party committee and people of Dong Nai for Hanoi capital city and its citizens on the occasion of the capital city’s millennial anniversary, Thanh said.
On this occasion, the Provincial People’s Committee presented a cerificate of merit to Robocon team LH-LED from Lac Hong University who came in the second place in the 2010 Asia-Pacific Robocon contest, held in Cairo, Egypt on September 21.

At the meeting, the province awarded prizes to units who won in the exhibition to welcome the 9th Provincial Party Congress. There were 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 2 third and 2 consolation prizes awarded.
In addition, Dong Nai also rewarded 5 collectives and 24 individuals who were winners at the contest entitled "Thang Long - Hanoi of thousand years of Culture and Heroes".
