Over 1,700 blood units donated in first half

More than 550 officials, teachers, students and people in the district registered to take part in the campaign. 360 of them were selected to donate blood after conducting the screening tests.

The Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre collected 361 units of blood on this occasion.

From the beginning of this year until now, the chapter launched 8 humanitarian blood donation programs and received more than 1,700 blood units, said Vice Chairman of the town’s Red Cross Chapter Phan Nhi.
