(ĐN)- Xuan Loc district’s Study Promotion Association on Sept. 8 held a meeting to review its activities in the past years.
Over the last years, the association raised more than VND18 billion from individuals and organizations inside and outside the district for study promotion activities. Particularly, the association rewarded 29,954 students for their excellent achievements in learning, awarded scholarships to nearly 2,000 poor students, built and upgraded schools, etc.
On this occasion, the association praised 26 collectives and 36 individuals for their efforts in promoting the movement of study promotion in the locality as well as their contributions to the development of the association during the past time. At the meeting, the association presented 20 bicycles to local students living in difficult circumstances in the district.
