Giant soccer ball travels to Dong Nai

(ĐN)- A huge soccer ball, which is six meters high and weighs 1,200 kilograms, used in a nationwide campaign to collect one-million signatures to support the Olympic team in the 25th Southeast Asian Games in Laos in December traveled to Dong Nai on Sept 26.

Huge soccer ball of campaign "the heart for Vietnamese football"

The campaign was kicked off in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang and has taken its road show to Gia Lai, Da Nang and Dong Nai. The event is expected to make the Olympic team strong in spirit and ready to play for all Vietnamese fans. 

The next stops will be HCM City, Ha Noi, Hai Phong and Vinh. From Vinh, the ball will accompany Vietnamese fans to Laos and to the stadiums where Vietnam’s Olympic team will play.

“The heart for Vietnamese football” campaign is organized by Paint manufacturer 4 Oranges, a sponsor of the Vietnam football team.
