(ĐN)- After nearly four years of implementation of the campaign “Day for the Poor” launched by provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Long Khanh town has raised more than VND10 billion to the fund for the poor. Accordingly, the fund has been used to build 817 charity houses worth a total of 5.8 billion for local poor households, presented more than 3,000 scholarships and 330 bicycles valued at approximately VND900 million to poor and ethnic minority students in the town.
Until now, Long Khanh has basically replaced dilapidated houses for the poor and ethnic minority people.
