Dong Nai Women’s Union reviews its activities in first half

(ĐN)- Recently, Dong Nai Women’s Union held a meeting to review its activities in the first half of the year.

(ĐN)- Recently, Dong Nai Women’s Union held a meeting to review its activities in the first half of the year. The meeting was attended by Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ao Van Thinh.

Over the past six months, the union organized practical activities to help its members to stabilize production and improve living condition. Accordingly, the union mobilized more than VND51.6 billion to provide supports to 58,224 members, award 4,920 scholarships worth VND1.7 billion and donated over VND6 billion to policy beneficiaries in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary Le Hong Phuong stressed that more efforts should be made to support the union’s members in remote areas, develop women’s movements and raise the quality of activities of unions at grassroots level.
