(ĐN)- A ceremony was held in Long Thanh district on April 28 to launch the National Week for Safe Water and Environmental Hygiene.
The national week for safe water and environmental hygiene called on all sectors and localities to raise the people’s awareness about the importance of environmental hygiene, safe water management, and protection of water sources.
The ceremony, jointly held by Dong Nai province’s Youth Union in cooperation with Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Long Thanh district People’s Committee.
The event attracted the participation of youth members, workers and students throughout the Long Thanh district.
After the launching ceremony, the participants joined the local people to organize parades along the major streets in Long Thanh district and plant trees in the surrounding areas.
