(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai provincial Study Encouragement Association, in 2008, the association and its branches mobilized VND17.7 billion to implement the province’s study encouragement activities, up 10 percent compared to 2007. Accordingly, the association commended and rewarded 72,240 students and 6,905 teachers who have many excellent achievements in teaching and learning, awarded 1,044 scholarships to outstanding poor students, gave 1,075 bicycles to poor students and built 72 charity houses.
In 2008, Dong Nai provincial Study Encouragement Association made many efforts to support education sector to improve the quality of teaching and learning, promote study encouragement activities and boost the movement of fondness families for learning.
